Meet the team

Qualification: Senior Instructor, RYA Sailing instructor and Windsurfing instructor, RYA powerboat instructor, PADI dive instructor.
About: Jo has been a water sports instructor for over 20 years (!). She has worked all over the world teaching children and adults the skills of sailing, windsurfing, power boating, kayaking, swimming, lifeguarding and diving. You're most likely to find her out on a windsurfer when its blowing and repairing all our sails when its not!

Qualification: Senior Instructor, RYA Sailing instructor and Windsurfing instructor.
About: Beka has been sailing with us for years as part of our community sailing program. He joined us once he left school and has gone from strength to strength to become an RYA Senior Instructor. He now teaches our more advanced courses helping students push their skills and improve.

Qualification: RYA sailing and Windsurfing instructor
About: DanT will always greet you with a big smile as you walk in the shed. He is a sailing and windsurfing instructor but don't make him pick his favourite! He enjoys teaching and flying spinnakers when it’s windy.

When he is not on the water he is handy on the sewing machine repairing our sails.

Qualification: RYA Sailing instructor and Assistant Windsurfing instructor.
About: G loves to go fast, especially out on the catamaran. He will happily take you out on a joyride to experience the thrill. His aim is to introduce more people to the world of watersports and the fun it brings!

Qualification: RYA sailing instructor and Assistant Windsurfing instructor.
About: Moha was another one of our community sailors and has developed his skills to become a Sailing instructor. He loves to share his knowledge and enjoys meeting new people.

Also known as: Joy

Qualification: RYA Sailing instructor.
About: Joy is our first ever Kenyan lady RYA sailing instructor! She loves being out on the water and would like to encourage more women to participate in watersports and learn to sail.

Qualification: PADI dive instructor, RYA Windsurfing instructor.
About: Sarah is our Dive guru. During her time with us she has developed her windsurfing skills and become an instructor in that too. When Sarah is not under or on the water she is the lady who answers your emails!

Also known as : Bonny

Qualification: PADI Divemaster
About: Bonny is a PADI divemaster and has years of experience working up and down the coast. He is also our dive boat driver and looks out for us out on the sea. Happiest under the sea, and watching others enjoying diving.

Qualification: RYA Sailing instructor

About: Sammy has been sailing in our community program since he was 9! He is happiest flying around the creek on a laser. He has also started windsurfing this season and has caught the bug. Sammy is always around to help rig your boat and send you off in the right direction.

Qualification: RYA Sailing instructor

About: A bit about me: Kaz came up the community training program, he is really enjoying learning new things - especially windsurfing. You will find him on the beach or you may be lucky and have him take you out on a joyride!

Watersports trainee

About: Joan is enjoying meeting new people, is always there to lend a hand at the beach or take children out for kids club. She is keen on inspiring young girls to try watersports!

Watersports Trainee

About: Marselus is a happy sailor, who will smile from ear to ear when you see him out on the water. He enjoys the strong wind, likes to challenge himself and doesn’t mind to capsize! You will find him always ready to help you and encourage you.

About: Pickle is a good pup, his favourite past times are chasing butterflies and crabs on the beach. Although he is quite large, he is a big softie really.
Favourite sports: Butterfly chasing, barking at tyres.

About: Nala is our other beach hound, much smaller than Pickle, but just as friendly!

Favourite sports: Boatrides, chasing mice
